Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join one of our development teams within the Merchant Products domain. The domain consists of multiple development teams spread over several products.

The team is working with microservices and owns the application which means that they get to decide the technical path. In Qliro we believe that you own your code, from design to production! The team contains of 7 developers, each of them has a piece of responsibility for everything from system design to security, stability and continuous delivery of the product.

Tools and languages that we use:

- React Redux and CSS
- C# .NET
- TeamCity, Octopus
- Git

You are expected to:

- Keep a technical vision for the product that is aligned with the team

Ensure the team have

- agreement and common understanding of coding guidelines
- a technical roadmap which are created together with the team
- Coordinate with other lead engineers to secure an overarching architecture
- Ensure the team is working towards the technical vision and continuously works with limiting technical dept
- Write, test and document code in a way that ensures that technical debt is kept at a minimum at all times

Identify, act and fix defects in products

- Review, estimate and plan on defects and business/technical requirements
- Contribute with experience, share knowledge and help your colleagues to improve their technical skills and domain expertise to your best ability
- Participate and execute in release process
- Contribute in architectural discussions for Qliro products
- Contribute to continuously improve ways of working
- Proactively assist stakeholders in making the right decisions when it comes to planning new features
- Assist in recruitment process for hiring team members
