We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Data Platform team at SEB in Stockholm. About the jobAs our new Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) your primary responsibility will be to work with Hadoop clusters in an advanced Linux environment. You will ensure that Big Data Platform services have reliability and uptime appropriate to user's needs and a fast rate of improvement while keeping an ever-watchful eye on capacity and performance. Much of our software development focuses on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure and eliminating work through automation. We build our own creative engineering solutions to operations problems.You will be a part of an agile team of experienced and dedicated professionals consisting of experts in various Big Data technologies. Our technical environment consists of Linux, Scala, Java Python, Hadoop / Hortonworks, Apache, Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming and Elastic Search. You will have great opportunities to both develop and take further steps in your career – working with in a highly collaborative environment.Who are you?To succeed as our Site Reliability Engineer, we believe that you have relevant experience focused on site reliability and good knowledge in Hadoop technologies. It is likely that you have a proven experience in Linux. Also, you have a great passion for problem-solving and an interest for designing, analysing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.As a person, you have a strong passion within your field and enjoy working with new technologies, tools and processes. You are a structured and driven team player. You have an analytic mindset and a systematic problem-solving approach.
