UX Designer

BackgroundThe Industrial Design and Human factors office is looking for an UX designer with  5+ years of the experience working across various platforms and mobile in an enterprise or/and industrial environment. The Industrial Design and Human factors office is an internationally awarded specialist competence team with global responsibility for Industrial design, Ergonomics, UX design and surface design within the Atlas Copco Industrial Technique Business Area. We work in close collaboration with the developing units in Sweden, Italy, Germany, UK and the US.Job descriptionYou will part of the team that creates innovative industrial products for Industry 4.0 and will work closely with UX designers, developers, product managers and data scientists. You are expected to be driving and participating in discussions and activities including delivery, planning and coordination design activities. You will be contributing with research, ideation, prototyping and usability testing to meet with deliveries in projects and supervise design, components, and brand standards. Position requires travelling.  Experience5+ years of professional hands-on UI design experience,  Being comfortable in workshop facilitation, concept creation, wireframing, testing, customer journey mapping, applying design systems and producing deliverables for developmentExperience in design research methods to understand and transform customer needs into effective solutions.Experience in process and impact mapping Leveraging and extending the use of established UX techniques and deliverables.Documented experience in mobile, web, and desktop solution design.Excellent verbal and written skills.Experience with resources such as design systems and repositoriesEducational requirementsMasters degree Design, Visual Communication, Information Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. Fluency in English is required, both written and spoken and other languages are meriting. You have experience in using programs such as Adobe CS and have a knowledge of various prototyping tools.Personality requirementsYou are a dedicated, self-driven, articulate, thoughtful and empathetic person. You can shift gears quickly and have a pragmatic sense of design.
