Digital Payment are now looking for an experienced Software engineer who can help us take our digital banking services to the next level for our 2 million digital active customers in Sweden. You will be part of an agile team in one of our most exciting areas within the Daily banking value stream. What we do will make a real difference in our customers’ everyday financial lives and allow Swedbank to continue deliver customer value in the rapidly changing financial industry.

About the job

In the Daily Banking Payments team we are developing and maintaining the payments and transfers functionality in the internet and mobile bank. The services we work with are used by millions of customers each month. We are looking for a dedicated experienced Software Engineer to be part of our journey in creating stellar payment services for our clients.

The team consists of Software Engineers, Business analysts, a Scrum Master and a Product Owner and this is giving the team great conditions to work effectively. As a Software Engineer in our team you will work with the development and solution design of the services you and the team are working with, both frontend and backend.

In this position you will:

• Contribute in all areas: analyze, design, develop, test and maintain services delivered by the team
• Proactively reduce the technical depths
• Design software following architecture principles
• Solve and deploy solutions of incidents and problems
• Continuously update existing documentation for the services
• Ensure quality awareness and care when designing, building and maintaining software
• Act as team player in the cross functional team and constantly improve the way of working

What you need to succeed

To excel in this role you will need:

• Academic degree in IT, engineering or equivalent
• At least 4 year experience as a Developer
• Experience in agile way of working
• Fluency in both Swedish and English
• Experience in Java EE, REST, Angular, JavaScript
