Have you experienced the madness that is the housing market of Stockholm? Paid an overprize to live in the outskirts of the city? Perhaps you even had to turn down jobs due to not being able to find housing within a commutable area? Then you are one of many.
At COLIVE we saw this problem and decided to make an active contribution to a more open and sustainable society. We believe that the existing lack of housing options for young adults has consequences far beyond the real estate market and has large impact on the growth and social integration in our city. COLIVE is a proptech startup offering high-tech, social and cost-efficient accommodation for young adults in a shared environment.
COLIVE has a tech stack of Node.js, React and React Native for building a web-based community platform, a platform to run back-office operations (SaaS) and an app for the co-living residents. Our tenants will be able to manage everything regarding their accommodation with this smartphone app, from booking a laundry room, to paying the bills and having food delivered.
About the position
As a mobile developer at COLIVE you get to lead the development of the mobile application for our tenants from start to finish.
This means to work in a team of web developers and a UX designer to create the best product experience for iOS and Android. Being one of the first members of the tech team you will be able to quickly become an integral part of this team, which means that you will get to implement your ideas and leave your take on both technical and architectural choices.
We expect you to have:
Solid programming background with core skills in mobile development using React Native.
Experience with complete mobile development cycle from requirements to launch and maintenance.
Ability to work independently.
Experience with Git and CI.
