Senior Back-End Developers

Job Description

Back-end developer is a key role in the company. In this position you will be working with our next generation products, ranging from cutting edge enterprise storage to embedded storage solutions deployed in industrial settings as well as the IOT space. As a member of our software development team you will translate business requirements and functional specifications into object oriented designs and implementations. You will work in a small focused team of developers solving challenging tasks and problems. You will be part of the whole development cycle by designing, implementing, testing and releasing product functions. You will provide written and verbal communication on the status of tasks and releases during the development process.

You have Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in computer science/engineering and minimum 5 years of experience from C/C++. We require that you have an edge and outstanding knowledge within the following areas:

• Software development using C and C++ on Linux/Unix platform
• Device driver development on Linux/Unix platform
• Embedded systems
• Data communication
• Algorithm design using C and C++
• Software design and architecture
• Object oriented development and design
• Python development
• Experience from automated testing
• Experience from SQL database

Experience within the following areas is of additional merit:

• Documenting architecture and source code
• Development in BSD kernel
• Enterprise Storage System
• VMwares platforms
• Microsoft Window Server
• Working in small agile teams with agile processes
• Complex technical problem solving

Personal capabilities:

• You must already be a resident in Sweden
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and in writing
• Quick learner with a structured approach and analytical skills
• Strong communicator
• You are creative, but also a Finisher delivering to commitments made
• “Can Do” personality with a strong urge to close action points
• Strong ability to understand new complex technical tasks
