Product Analyst

How you'll challenge an industry:
The role of product analyst puts you at the core of product development. Together with product managers and other stakeholders you define how to measure our impact, and work out hypotheses on how to improve, and validate those hypotheses using your skills in data analysis.

Day to day you’ll work with other analysts and engineers to make sure we collect and instrument the data you, and hence we, need to succeed. You also develop and communicate insights based on it.

How you perform your analysis work is up to you, though we do work together to build best practices and automation. The data you need likely lives in BigQuery and you will probably chose to work in Python or R, or with spreadsheets, to analyse it.

Responsibilities:

In short a product analyst at Tink helps us understand our users and improve the value we provide to them. You’re responsible for how we achieve that, from identifying opportunities from data, to working out and testing hypotheses with product teams.

At the end of the day we want you to tell us if we’re doing a good job, evaluate our efforts to improve, and ensure our product development is truly data-driven.

What we look for:
Required qualifications:

- A curious mind and ability to inspire impact through insights
- Masters degree in a quantitative field such as statistics/engineering/science, or equivalent experience gained elsewhere
- 2+ years of hands on experience in a related field, such as business or risk analysis (or of course product analytics / data science)
- Coding skills are required, ideally in Python/R and SQL
- Experience with dashboarding/visualization tools, AB-testing, ML frameworks are meriting
