OUR TEAM
We are a team within Axis Research & Development organization overall responsible for managing Axis Common Firmware Platform and upgrading products with new firmware. Our team works closely together with the software and product development to ensure that the Axis product portfolio is up-to-date and meets our customers’ requirements.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a member of one of our agile team, your assignment will be to:
Participate in our transformation to DevOps and other improvement activities
Write scripts and adapt tools to automate our workflow
Find and remove manual steps and bottlenecks in our release pipeline
Collect, analyze and visualize metrics to support DevOps evolution
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you are analytic, curious and work well together with others. It is important that you have a holistic mindset and are interested in contributing to optimizing the integration and release workflow.
Suitable background for the position:
Master’s degree in engineering or similar
Programming experience
Experience of working with Git
Experience in one or more of the following fields is an advantage:
Python, JavaScript, C# and database
Jira, Gerrit, Jenkins and Elasticsearch
Knowledge of software and data acquisition design
Knowledge of DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Knowledge of Agile methodology such as Scrum
Both newly graduated and experienced applicants are welcome
