Business Relationship Manager for Commercial Operations and Sales & Marketing

Customer Interface (IC) is the organisation which develops and maintains the relationship between Scania's business and Scania IT.

In ICSE resides a team of Market Business Relationship Managers that maintains the relation with the globally spread Business Units of Scania - that are part of the Commercial Operations and Sales & Marketing organisations.

The area of Market Business Relationship Management is evolving rapidly as a result of increased demand from Business Units, in conjunction with a further development of IC's Strategy.

We are now looking for a Market Business Relationship Manager (BRM) that will work with Scania's global Business Units and the Regional/Global Management.

Role description
The following tasks are part of the role:

Understand the needs of existing customers and establish relationships with potential new customers
.Being the customers' primary speaking partner
.Having an overall view with the customers business needs in focus
.Understanding the customers' overall IT cost and future cost development
.Ensuring the customer satisfaction and being the customers' voice internally at Scania IT
.Being able to translate customers' requirements in an actionable plan
.Being a member in customers' IT governance structure (Regional IT coordination meeting, BU IT council, etc)

Understand if the customers' need can be fulfilled by the current application and service portfolio or if a new/changed business function or service must created
.Ensuring that the applications and services are aligned with the customer needs - Demand Management to assure the right function, performance step and delivery quality - neither more nor less ?Understanding the application and service portfolio
?Challenging the customer to use standard applications and services

.Capture future demands
.Initiating and preparing implementation assignments and new/modification requests

Contributing actively to the customers' planning for the future
.Participating in the strategic planning to define the desired state, strategy and roadmap
.Initiating and preparing prioritised activities
.Following-up and reporting on ongoing activities

Contributing to the development of the Market BRM team
.Support the development of the team in exploring new areas and improved ways of working.

Background
The profile of a Business Relationship Manager is a senior person with a good business knowledge and a social capability that can build and establish a close relationship with globally spread customers with a multicultural background.

The Market Business Relationship Manager role typically has an infrastructure focus, and as such a proper understanding of infrastructure services and service components is desirable.

You are fluent in English both written and oral. The work will require some travelling.
