QA Non Functional Test Specialist

Nasdaq Technology is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance test specialist to join the QA organization in Nasdaq's Nordic technology center in Stockholm. The individual must have in depth knowledge of performance/system testing with a focus on test automation. In the QA organization, we are currently a hundred people supporting the technologies that drive Exchanges, Clearing Houses and Central Securities Depositories (CSD's) around the world. Examples of the growing customer base are financial institutions in Australia, Singapore, Turkey, Indonesia and Hong Kong.

We are working with interesting and complex products with very high quality requirements. You will be part of this by joining a highly qualified cross-functional scrum team consisting of Business Analysts, Software Developers and Test Engineers and will be responsible executing all types of tests in the non-functional areas.

The role entails responsibilities such as:

* Create, execute and maintain tests according to test scripts and test plans
* Create test effort estimates, test plans, test specifications and test reports
* Review business requirements, SLAs and hardware configuration specifications
* Execute all types of tests in the non-functional area such as transaction latency, throughput, robustness, failover, operational tests, exploratory, etc.
* Design, plan, coordinate, lead and test system conformance to Service Level Agreements
* Automate non-Functional tests (using test frameworks in perl), at times also uses market standard tools like HP loadrunner, Neoload

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:

* Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
* Several years of experience in Non-Functional testing

Skills and Requirements:

* Hands-on technical experience in performance testing of software projects
* Good experience in performance testing, analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization on large-scale enterprise systems
* Expert knowledge of HTTP/Web, WebService protocol load generation using HP Performance Center or Load Runner, JMeter or similar tools
* Knowledge of scripting in perl, java, python, shell or similar script languages
* Experience with Linux/Unix
* Understanding of throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization
* Thread, Heap and Crash Dump analysis for performance tuning and bottleneck analysis
* Expert in developing test scripts, creating scenario, test execution and analysis using performance test tool and any monitoring tool
* Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL query plan and contention/locking analysis and tuning, ability to interpret AWR report
