Technical manager

We are looking for a technical manager to help build our new office on Åland and lead the technical aspects of our local projects. You'd be involved with our customers, project managers and of course developers to make sure we finish our projects on time and according to specification.

The industry we're in is ever-changing, so you'll be evaluating and choosing which technologies and solutions we use moving forward. This position will also give you the opportunity to actively keep coding yourself, so you can keep your skills up to par. Still interested? Well let's get in to the nitty gritty of what we're after:

At least 3 years of experience in a software engineering role
Familiarity with Agile development/Scrum methodologies
Experience with both backend and frontend development
When it comes to programming skills, we value knowledge of C#, Java, JavaScript and PHP but also any other language you may have come across in your career
Being part of two or more software projects deployed into production
Great social and communication skills
A couple of human languages

At Gambit, we digitize to make things easier. Our business-oriented apps and third party integrations make every work day better than the previous one. Our growing team currently consists of twenty-five developers, designers and managers. As well as a bunch of cute dogs. Although they do lack some work morale. The dogs that is, not the humans.
