MHS is a retail logistics service which provides the customer stores with functionality for goods handling, warehouse management, customer picking, sales location management and forecasting. MHS plays a major part in making them a multi-channel retailer. Increased goods volumes increases the need for automated picking solutions with new interfaces to MHS. Our customer is starting to re-architect MHS with new functionality on a cloud native platform. At the same time MHS is going through a journey to secure its technical platform with the focus on migrating the database as well as modernizing and separating the user interface to a web based UI. MHS development teams are working according to agile principles with cross functional teams working in three week sprints. The scope of the consultant services is to assist our customer in..We are looking for a System Developer in MHS Development Centre working with development of new and changed functionality for goods administration, goods picking, sales space administration and forecasting solutions. A team consists of six to ten persons with competence in development, architecture, test, DevOps and business flows. You will work with the development of the existing Customer Picking Solution written in C++. As a developer in the team you contribute to the analysis, design, development, test, integration and deployment of the features and enablers which the team have in the backlog. As a team you have end to end responsibility from need to solution. You are motivated by committing to the team’s delivered solution in a sprint. Experience from retail and/or logistics is valuable. Beneficial is experience from global applications in complex system. For you as a developer, you are motivated by making your functionality working all the way into production.Kravspecifikation:Desired knowledge, experience, competence skills etc. You are a developer with experience from C++ on an OpenVMS platform. The new solution will contain functionality in the customer picking area of the store. You are experienced in and motivated by working with all aspects from development to operations and support during go-live. As a person you are eager to learn, happy to share your knowledge and able to efficiently communicate with other development related roles in a cross functional team. You have experience from and enjoy working according to agile principles. The development teams are working with scrum in three week sprints. MHS Development Centre is in the middle of a complex task to modernize the application, platform, working methods and development environment.
