Head of back end development

Lybbo is a startup, and we are developing a new revolutionary Internet based service for taking care of your home and interact with your community. We believe the Lybbo service will be the "hub" for the Internet of things, related to your home. The service will handle large amount of data and retrieve data from external sources, which among other things will generate many database searches.

We need someone who wants to develop this service. If this is you, then you will be working with database design, database development and integration with external data sources. The programming language will be PHP, PostgreSQL, LDAP and Elastic Search as search engine. You should also be able to handle design tools like Power Designer as well as have an understanding of front end development, for instance in HTML 5 and JavaScript. Our choice of CMS is Wordpress and we will focus on other open source tools. This service is being developed from scratch. You will be able to influence and control the process and the outcome.

This is a start up, therefore, you should like challenges, be self-motivated and dedicated aswell as understand the business for best results. We are a tight team of three men and one woman with different skills that overlap. This might not be a full time job for you, initially, but there is plenty to do and you can work full time if you are able to. We value good availability and fast feedback.
