Global Space Management is looking for a sales & data driven retail business analyst to join us! We are responsible for optimizing retail space in existing stores and are a part of the Global Merchandising function.GLOBAL MERCHANDISING:The mission for Merchandising is to deliver the best product offer in all locations at all times. In the global merchandising team we are deeply involved in the business here and now, supporting our sales markets to maximize the results as well in developing the business for future success. This is done by setting the right garment prioritization, volume, price, assortment and manage the space within existing stores. We are located in Stockholm and consist of 5 central teams; Central Analysis Team, Merchandising Solutions, Space Management, Supply Chain and Gift card. This role is in the Space Management Team, with the responsibility to optimize space and sqm selling in all existing stores globally. On top of this we are also responsible for a test environment in the physical store and merchandising the stores of the future. We are a team consisting of nine colleagues – project leaders, merchandisers and data analysts.As Retail Business Analyst, you will work close to data analysts and project leaders in a high pace environment striving for creating the optimal retail space for H&M. You will get instant exposure for projects with large impact on the global business and you will often find yourself solving complex problems that we are facing in real time. You will collaborate with multiple central departments as well as country organizations in order to make sure that we are taking the bests possible decisions for the organization as a whole. In this role you willConduct various retail analysis to:Optimize sqm sellingIdentify business opportunitiesSupport project leadersAct as a link between the data and the project leaders/merchandisersDig into massive datasetsConstruct dashboards and models that are easy to integrate into the business We think you are:Highly analytical with the ability to connect data to businessA university graduate within engineering, business or a combination of the twoA happy coderInterested in retailResults drivenAttention to detailCommunicativeEntrepreneurial Coding knowledge is required, but no specific coding language is mandatory even if SQL, R, Python are meriting.  A background in either retail or consulting is also meriting but not mandatory. We can offer you:A great opportunity to work in a skilled dynamic team being very close to the core business.
