DevOps Engineer

Your Role:
Role is day to day maintenance and management of legacy LEMP site, including database servers, application servers, and backend services. Reporting is heavily matrixed and will involve work with marketing, finance, design, head of studio, and part time senior ops staff. Primary tasks will be handling known issues as they arise, diagnosing new issues, and escalating where appropriate. Depending on dev experience, role may also include helping bug fixes and small updates.

Needed skills:

- Ability to carefully diagnose complex legacy systems
- Experience running PHP based sites
- Experience with MySQL (ideally version 5 and Percona xtradb-cluster)
- Good Linux skills (bash)
- Basic PHP coding skills
- Basic Javascript/html/css skills
- Basic experience with Java
- Experience with large LEMP based sites (Nginx, Mysql, PHP and Memcached)

Nice to have:

- Experience with High-availability/Cluster-solutions
- Experience with network-administration
- Reasonable scripting skills (bash, perl)
- Cisco network experience
