Senior Front End Developer

Our client works with professional video production- Live-action & animated. They work with very well known end clients such as SVT play, HBO Nordic, Aftonbladet.

The role:

As a Front End Developer, you will work with the design and implementation of applications for the control of products for professional use. You will contribute to the definition of development strategies and to influence the software architecture with much focus on the user experience (UX).

You´ll be involved in the first phase of the project and conduct development of jointly established specifications to the finished product. You´ll get a real opportunity to work with various technologies since the team includes a mix of different skills.

You will be an important member of the Solutions team that is responsible for developing our Video Platform. We work in an agile environment using Scrum in close cooperation with our Product Owner.

Who are you?

We think you have a post-secondary education in Computer Engineering or equivalent and razor sharp skills in HTML5, JavaScript and related technologies, as well as experience from various platforms - primarily MS Windows and Mac OS X, but perhaps also Android and iOS.

You are able to showcase the work you have done (not necessarily in a professional context) that proves that you have mastered the technique.

You thrive in an agile environment where you are involved and solve technical challenges and are also able to influence the development of new products. You also have an excellent command of the English language.

As a person you have passion for what you do. You are good in your technical field and like to find innovative solutions. You thrive in a role where you will be able to grow and develop in your field and you appreciate having a team to brainstorm ideas with.

To play with us we see that you have:

- A minimum of 3 year's professional experience working with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React and other frameworks

- Good knowledge about design patterns

- Understanding of Web Services (REST)

- Experience working with automated tests

- Experience with Responsive design

- Fluency in English, Swedish is a plus!

It's also a bonus if you have worked with:

- Continuous integration, continuous deployment

- Selenium/Protractor, Jasmine, Karma

- Microservices

- Document databases (NoSQL)
