Position SummaryWe are looking for senior/experienced Java Software Developer that wants to be part of the development of our next-generation Business Support System (called Revenue Manager).Revenue Manager is a cloud-ready convergent charging and billing system which redefines the role of BSS. Ericsson customers running the old system is eagerly waiting for the next generation and we want you to be part in this journey. Job descriptionWe are looking for senior/experienced software developers who want to be in the forefront of large-scale software development project.We are currently evolving our product portfolio in order to capture new revenue streams with a cloud-ready convergent charging and billing system that addresses the unique needs of digital services and business models in the Networked Society. Our systems are developed with industry standard technologies, geared for virtualization and cloud environment, with great user experience in mind. You will join a software development team in Karlskrona, working in all phases of the product's life cycle, including prototypes, demos, design, implementation, verification and maintenance of our products. Our ways of working are based on agile principles, where continuous integration and automation are corner stones in our development methodology. Working with continues improvements is also a natural part of your role. You will be part of our global development organization and interact with peers in different parts of the world (India, Germany, Canada, Brazil and more). Position QualificationsWe see that you have a Master’s or Bachelor´s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science and 3-5 years of work experiences in software development.You shall have deep and documented knowledge in software programming languages, preferably Java backend as well as being familiar with industry standard frameworks like JEE, OSGi, etc.You shall have knowledge in Software development environment and tools like Git/Gerrit, Jenkins etc.You shall have knowledge from software applications using databases and information models, multi-threaded applications and distributed systems.You shall have knowledge in requirement handling and system modelling.It is meriting if you have experiences of user interface development and have competence in UX principles.You are able to present technical details adapted to different audiences.You have work experiences from Lean & Agile principles, and like to work in team environment.You have ability to lead teams and coach other developers.We see you that show inter-personal skills, are flexible and willing to adapt & respond to change.We see you being creative and like to find new ideas and solutions.We work in a global environment which means English skills are a must, and a second additional language is meriting.It is meriting is you have experiences from multi-cultural and distributed development.It is meriting is you have experiences from OSS/BSS systems FinallyWe really look forward to meet you and get inspired by your innovative ideas and challenged to perform even better. If you enjoy high speed, challenging tasks and great opportunities, you will for sure have Fun with us!
