DESIGN INTERN PLACEMENT 2019-20
Are you a creative and innovative university level design graduate with a keen interest in fashion? Do you have a good eye for trends? Are you interested in working in a customer oriented way? Then you have the right qualifications to apply for a Fashion or Print Design Student Placement at H&M.
The H&M Design and Buying Office is based in Stockholm, Sweden. This is where we design and develop our collections of garments and accessories for a great variety of customers. As a Fashion or Print Design Intern you will work in a team at one of our concepts. Together with the rest of the team you will produce and develop collections that will be sold worldwide in all H&M markets. We have two kinds of placements: Fashion- or Print Design Placements.
FASHION DESIGN INTERN: assisting the fashion designers in developing the products.
PRINT DESIGN INTERN: assisting the fashion print-designers in developing the prints.
Our internship period for SUMMER 2019-2020: Sep-Feb
Come join one of our concepts: Babywear, Children's wear, Women's wear, Men's wear, Underwear, Divided, Accessories, Denim, Shoes, Sport´s wear, H&M HOME etc. You will be placed where there is a current need.
H&M is looking for someone who:
. Is graduating with a BA or MA degree in Fashion/Textile Design.
. Is creative, visionary and has a passion for fashion
. Has knowledge of pattern making, sewing and textile materials
. Excellent drawing skills
. Strong Illustrator and Photoshop skills
. Is able to understand the needs of the target market and target customer
. Enjoys working in a team
. Is fluent in English
. Plus for textile print students: Must know print techniques, various print genres
