Backend Developer- IT Infrastructure

Instabox is a tech startup that wants to change the logistics industry. We think it should be easy to shop online and offer our customers a fast and smooth shipping service - all in order to make everyday life easier. We want our customers to be able to shop from any of our e-commerce partners and pick up their products in one of our +200 smart boxes - all in the same day. Does this sound too good to be true? Might sound so, but it is all possible by the fact that we are developing our own software.

Instabox is a fast growing company and we are now looking for driven Developers who want to be part of our journey - breaking new land within the fields of e-commerce and logistics. As a startup we are building our own systems and products from scratch, using modern technology for our cost-effective delivery method. Since we are developing our own technology we can control everything from architecture to technology choices. We break new ground on a daily basis and the aim has been set high.

Job Description

Are you a developer who likes to have a holistic view? Then you might be the perfect fit for us. Working with IT-Infrastructure you will be responsible for developing and architecting the communication between our systems and building our internal IT infrastructure. Projects can consist of choosing technology, setting up servers, building cache-modules and working with architecture, DevOps and ensuring that the operation of our systems is working properly. In other words, you will be involved in choosing and developing building blocks that the rest of the IT organization will use in their work.

You will work a lot with Linux and it is good if you have knowledge in the MEAN and or ELK stack.

Who are we looking for?

- You love to code and are comfortable working with a wide range of assignments.

- It is an advantage if you have a Bsc or Msc in Computer Science or related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Backend Developer.

- You have previously worked in DevOps, the MEAN and or ELK stack, and it is an advantage if you have been working in Ansible (or similar technologies) and/or Kubernetes.

- Good English skills, both verbally and written.

You will work closely with our Developers who are all passionate about building our products. Our IT-Department is located at Slussen where you will sit together with other driven Developers. Our Tech team consists of 13 people and you will report to CTO. This is a full-time position and you will have flexible working hours.
