Technical Product Owner

Nasdaq is now looking for a Technical Product Owner to join our Platform team in Stockholm. The team is responsible for delivering a standardized platform to serve all our future implementations. This is a chance to be part of an exciting journey in expanding our technical roadmap and product development. Together with the team, you will be responsible for enhancing our platform and services with new functionalities in order to meet our customers' expectations, improve performance and operability.

As Technical Product Owner, you will work in an international and dynamic environment. Where you will have the chance to build and develop the Product Owner role and responsibilities. One of your key objectives will be to ensure we continuously improve our ways of working and building our software.

This is a central role that will act as a conduit between the engineering team and product- and delivery organizations within Nasdaq. Here you will work in an agile environment where we constantly improve our workflows, and ourselves making sure that our work is productive and stimulating.

What you will be doing:

* Building relationships and network with a wide variety of people within Nasdaq from engineering experts to marketing superheroes.
* Develop holistic knowledge about our products and platform- driving the vision and strategy from business both within the team as well as through the product development.
* Participating in architectural decisions.
* Follow the team's progress and ensure that we meet deadlines and escalate to stakeholders when necessary.
* Partnering with the team Manager, you will participate in forming the team structure and improving methodologies to raise efficiency.
* Be part of evolving the product development process in the organization.
* Drive our roadmap, and build the target state for our platform.
* Gather the Why and What from our stakeholders and, together with the team, break down to How and When.
* Sort and prioritize, with the team, lead sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, ensure good quality and Definition of Done.

What you will bring to the team:

* Curiosity and a highly collaborative work style along with wanting to contribute what you already know, educate the people around you, and bravely dive into new territories.
* Previous experience of working with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
* Passion for building great products and delivering to business and customers.
* An outgoing and self-driven attitude along with your sense of structure and creativeness.
* Several years of experience with software development and at least a bachelor degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
* Few years of experience as Engineering lead, Product owner and/or agile team lead.
