Axis who? And why? Good questions! Basically we’re best at being world leaders. Long time ago we were world leaders within print servers. Now we’re world leaders within network video products and solutions, but we’re also making what we believe are the world leading network speakers. We came from being no one in our business to world domination in ten years. This has made us professionals in learning what it takes to win. Every single person in the company counts. Our web http://www.axis.com is a cluster of seven different web instances in Drupal and Wordpress. We have approx. 25.000 visitors per day and the web team has 17 members working with everything from UX and design to development, testing, backend integrations etc. We have a multilanguage website, with high demands on performance globally. To work at the Axis web department is to understand the business, globally, to understand what to prioritize. It’s complex and it’s fun.
In this role you will take on a big responsibility for the instances together with your colleagues. You will be a part of one of our scrum teams and work with both maintenance (mainly Drupal 7 and Wordpress) and new development (mainly Drupal 8).
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for a senior fullstack developer with at least three year’s experience of fullstack development.
Knowledge in Drupal 7 & 8 – (8 is higher priority):
Contributions to Drupal community is valued but not mandatory
Experience in Wordpress is valued but not mandatory
Experience of multilanguage enterprise web is valued but not mandatory
Experience in:
PHP – Symphony
JavaScript – ES6, jQuery, React (bonus)
CSS – Less/Sass
GitLab
Linux
Docker
Build, maintain and consume different API:s (REST)
Fluent: Swedish or English (we speak English in the team)
