About the job Kärnan is a part of Group Customer Value Management and the value stream Customer Data – Master Data Management. We search for a Developer that will work with development and maintenance in our master data systems. We offer you the possibility of an interesting and varying job. Kärnan, which is a generic term for our Master Data Systems, is an important base for many applications within Swedbank. Kärnan consist of several systems, e.g. the Party, Product, Agreement and Debiting systems. In the development you will participate in different initiatives and work with design specifications, interpretation of requirements and programming. In the maintenance you will monitor and solve upcoming problems. The main part of the systems is on the mainframe platform.
Your assignment comprises:
Contribute in all areas; analyze, design, develop, test, document and maintain services delivered by the team
Have, and continue to gain, good knowledge of the businesses in the team's area
Interest in participation together with business to develop new solutions
Ensure quality awareness and usability when designing, building and maintaining software
Collaborate with the Product Owner, business analyst and other roles to refine the product backlog
Participate in sprint planning; provide work estimates to deliver user stories for business and maintenance
What you need to succeed You have worked as a mainframe developer for at least 3-5 years and have good knowledge in design and programming. You are driven and solution oriented and you are a strong team player. You have/are:
Proven Mainframe, DB2 and Cobol coding skills
Experience from or interest in working in a scrum team and in an agile way of working
A strong team player and contribute to a good work environment
Open minded and willing to learn new things and ways of working
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-driven, gives and takes responsibility
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
A relevant university degree or similar work experience
What you may have worked with previously Development, design and maintenance, in Mainframe
