THE COMPANY
Vidispine is a fast-growing IT company headquartered in Kista, Stockholm. We develop advanced systems for video and image management, powering large media production systems around the globe. The base of our business is an API-based video platform that our customers build into their video production workflows. The Vidispine platform powers production systems on all continents of the world, serving thousands of users with millions of files. We have been awarded the DI Gasell award for being one of the fastest growing companies in Sweden in the last year. THE POSITION
As a member of our support and operations team you will help our customers with troubleshooting Vidispine products as well as managing our hosted environments. Some buzzwords you will be working with is REST APIs, SQL, Java, Python, Javascript, SOLR, ElasticSearch, ActiveMQ, Docker and Linux in local as well as large scale cloud environments such as AWS, Azure and Google cloud.

You will interact with our customers' developers, partners and integrators through our support ticket system. As the entire Vidispine team works closely together, you will have direct access to our own system developers and product owners. You will be a vital player in a tight team with short decision paths.

WHO YOU ARE
You have a degree in Computer Science, or you just love everything about IT and are self-taught. You have a great interest in technical development and problem solving. It is of merit if you have previous experience in customer support, development, Vidispine Server, cloud systems or handling of video and image formats.

As a person you are service minded and love to drill down into technical issues in order to solve customer problems. Being a team player you will be an important part of the operations team at Vidispine. Furthermore, you thrive in a role where you are expected to pick up new technology quickly, which is also something that attracts you. You are fluent in English, both written and verbal communication
