Developer with an entrepreneurial spirit

We are looking for a software developer to be part of an agile team within one of Sectra's newest and fastest growing business lines - Medical Education and Training.

At Sectra Education, you will work with a state-of-the-art technological solution used to train future health care professionals. Our educational platform includes Education Portal, a cloud-based Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), that connects to multiple devices such as PC's, tablets, and large table and wall-mounted touchscreens for virtual dissection and advanced 3D visualization of real patient cases. The Sectra Education solution is currently implemented in more than 50 different countries and growing!

In this position, you will:

Develop state-of-the-art software used to train future health care professionals.

As a team, be responsible for the design, implementation and quality of new and future-proof features in Education Portal.
Collaborate with other development teams in Sectra.

Integrate third-party software.
Evolve our way of working – we can always make things better!
Be a part of the DevOps team running our production servers.

For this position, the following requirements apply:

University degree in software engineering or equivalent.
Fluent in English and Swedish.
You just love to develop new technology!
Well-versed in programming languages such as C#, Java and/or C++.
Enjoy working with several different products/areas and can easily adapt.
Interest in and ability to work with our international customers.

Assets

In addition, we consider it an asset if you also:

Speak more languages than those required above.
Have experience with cloud platforms and services.
Worked with PowerShell, SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript and/or React.
Have experience with web development.
Have a strong interest in testing.
Have interests besides school/work, such as sports, sports leader, music, horseback riding, singing or flying (if you happen to have pilot’s license, you can fly to our customers in our own Sectra airplane) or anything else that makes you stand out from the crowd.
