Technical Tester

Job description: For our client we are looking for a Technical Tester with programming experience. As a consultant you can plan, deploy and manage test team and test activities. Ensure test requirements are reviewed, clear and testable, identify and describe opportunities for non-functional test activities. Provide input to the project manager / delivery manager and the project team about potential risks, current quality of the product and status of test activities. Secure the review process is implemented and all test artifacts are reviewed as per standard review process. Required skills: - manual testing including tools and techniques (basic and advanced) - programming experience, C# and .NET, being confident in creating and maintaining automated test suite - test planning, test processes and test strategies. - test environment setup - able to work in both traditional and agile context and understanding the pros/cons of both approaches and what needs to be done in order to be efficient in either context - being able to take lead in driving and improving all of the areas mentioned above - being 100% in the testing line of business, having a solid desire to work with focus primarily on testing in all shapes (manual and “hands-on” testing, automated testing, test management, etc). Preferred Skills: - It’s a plus if you have experience from DevOps and micro services. - familiarity and/or experienced with different types of testing is a plus, e.g. performance testing, pentesting, etc - familiarity with common web technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc - automation framework experience, preferably with Selenium.
