OUR TEAM
We are a team within Axis Research & Development organization, overall responsible for administrating our device software (axOS) and upgrading products with new firmware. Our team work close together with the software and product development to ensure that Axis product portfolio is up-to-date and meet our customers’ requirements.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The main responsibility will be operative work connected to the device software with focus on release work and integration support but will also include various other tasks and activities.

Integration support

Give administrative support to teams, projects and developers integrating new product firmware, code changes and new/changed capabilities
Run and analyze automated test

Setup and maintain hardware products in the product lab
Supervise the automated regression test suite on daily basis and analyze the test results
Write high-level defect reports on problems found by the test suite
Release work

Provide releases to internal stakeholders and customers
Manage general release work support
Continuous Improvement

Participate in our transformation towards DevOps and other improvement activities
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Since the team works tightly together with alternating tasks we believe you are a well-organized and flexible person that likes cooperation and takes own initiatives. It is important that you like to help others and to contribute to optimizing the integration and release workflow.

You have knowledge of:

Release Management
General software development
Version control and change management
Git, Gerrit and Jenkins
Linux environment
DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery
We believe that you have a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in engineering, system science or similar. Knowledge in programming languages such as Python is an advantage.

Also, if you are a junior candidate and does not comply with all the mentioned knowledge requirements, but have a high ambition in the area, don’t hesitate to apply. This is a team where we strongly support your growth.
