Manager Data Architecture

Data & Analytics are transforming the retail market. ICA Sweden now recruits a Manager to lead the Data Architects team. This team will be a key player in transforming ICA into a truly analytics-driven leader in meeting the customer needs within grocery retailing. ICA has a clear strategy from C-level to grow the area of analytics across the company. We are investing in recruiting new hires and in new technologies, so now is an opportunity to come aboard and help form the team and how we will be working.

The team of Data Architects is responsible for develop and maintain architectural principles, guidelines and overall solution design for all our logical & analytical data layers across the company as well as to secure optimal usage of existing and need for new technical capabilities for analytics.

The opportunities in using data & analytics at ICA Sweden to create value for ICA and our customers are endless. We are therefore centralizing and growing our analytic functions, modernizing and investing in our BI / Big Data environments such as Hadoop / Spark / Cloudera and Tableau alongside with our traditional DWs solutions. We are currently working on a number of Advanced Analytics / Machine Learning use cases and are now on an exciting journey where we want to accelerate the use of Analytics in the entire organization. The team of Data Architects have a key role in the success of this journey working closely with our business, data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and rest of IT. Are you up for the Challenge?

The role gives a unique opportunity as a solution architects to further deepen your own architectural competence working with new technologies and analytical solutions in larger initiatives at the same time develop the team and ways of working.

Who you are:

You need to have worked as senior developer and solution architect in BI and with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Java, Cloudera. Previous manager/leadership experience is a strong plus.
