Quality Assurance Engineer
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.As a QA engineer you will be responsible for implementing tests, participate in releasing certifications, debugging and defining corrective actions.You will also conduct tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets the original design criteria, keeping the customer experience in the forefront. Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing features
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and develop work-arounds if needed
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Qualifications
- Proven work experience in software development and quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Hands-on experience with both white box, black box testing and automated testing tools
- Knowledge of SQL and scripting, Javascript and Single Page Applications, React is preferred
- Knowledge of ASP.NET/C#
- Experience with Episerver CMS / Commerce is a plus
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
