Senior Software Engineer

For our client we are looking for a Senior Studio Software Engineer and HMI Developer

Job description:
The team consists out of a group of people with engineering backgrounds whose main task is to support designers and surface modellers with technical issues. In your role as Senior Studio Engineer and HMI Developer, you will be responsible for developing high fidelity Interaction software prototypes for verification purposes of Interaction concepts, graphics and animations as well as user interfaces. This is done in collaboration with the user interface designer. As a Senior Studio engineer, you are expected to manage your own area and have the ability to prioritize your deliveries.

Responsibility:
- Together with HMI designer develop an interface to meet Design intention.
- Make sure that the SW prototypes are in line with the designer’s intention
- Secure that the graphics are pixel perfect and that all animations are according to the design concept
- Prepare the SW for prototyping

Required skills:
- Working experience from User Interface development on Windows, Linux, iOS, Android
- Working experience from Languages and framework such as QT, QML, Android Studio, OpenGL
- Working experiment from 3D Surface tools such as Blender
- B.Sc. Computer Engineering, Interaction Design, Electrical or Mechatronics
- Ability to present technical issues / solutions for top management
- Ability to understand and communicate the Design intention
- Good communication & leadership skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Preferred skills:
- Software development and quality assurance of embedded systems
- Working experience in C/C++, java, Python and Linux environment
