For our client we are looking for a Backend Developer (Ruby)
Responsibilities / About the job
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and a reliable Payment Infrastructure
Integration of transaction based solutions. (May include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.)
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
Identify bottlenecks, security concerns, as well as performance issues
Help maintain code quality, organization and automatizations
Be active in the tech community, watching related open source projects
Aware of security alerts and issues connected to TLS, AWS, DNS, etc.
Desired Skills
Experience with OO development
Experience from backend development in Ruby
Solid understanding of secure development
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as React/Ember/Angular, HTML5, and CSS3
Used to produce unit- and integration tests
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
You like to ship high-quality, secure and performant products
Solution oriented approach on challenges
Desired Experience
Experience of GO is a big plus
Front End design (CSS/HTML5/JavaScript/) is a big plus.
Experience with larger systems, architecture, AWS, DevOps
IT project planning is a plus
