Ethernet switching functionality provides essential platform services between nodes in the Ericsson Radio System. Interconnectivity is playing an essential role in the RAN evolution as traffic demand is increasing and requires higher capacity and flexibility to support heterogeneous deployment and different interconnect protocols. Wanted: One Senior Software Developer who is passionate about software development and wants to be part of shaping the next generation Ericsson IP transport. We are now looking for a Senior Software Developer to lead and develop products (units, nodes, networks, systems, and solutions). Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, software architecture design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. Product Development Unit (PDU) Base Band and Interconnect consist of approximately 2000 R&D professionals spanning R&D sites in Europe and Asia. The PDU is responsible for all aspects of Base Band and Interconnect HW and SW module development and their integration. The products are part of Ericsson Radio System. The PDU is heavily involved in product development for 5G. The Sync, OAM & Packet Transport (CSI) sector consists of more than 350 R&D professionals spanning R&D sites in Sweden, Poland and Croatia. The CSI sector work with SW development of Synchronization and Radio Interconnect functions for the Ericsson Radio System Products towards 5G and is also a competence center in these areas for Development Unit Network (DNEW).We are now looking for a Senior Software Developer to strengthen our Interconnect (IC) teams.
