QA/Test Automation Engineer to Edenred in Stockholm!

About the position

As our new QA Tester/Engineer at our IT department, you will be engaged in exciting changes currently happening at Edenred in areas such as employee benefits, fleet and mobility solutions and complementary solutions including corporate payments. Your role will be a broad one with primary responsibility including assessing software quality through manual and automatic testing. Furthermore, you will be collaborating with product owners and developers to create effective strategies and test plans for a wide range of products in the following categories: Ticket Rikskuponger, Wellness, Ticket Elevkortet and Delicard.

In your new role as a QA Engineer you will write and execute test cases, report bugs and glitches, help troubleshoot system issues and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Our agile technical environment includes a Microsoft stack of SQL, .Net, automated testing and QA methodology. The choice of tools we further implement will be partially your responsibility as our new QA Engineer / Tester, though previous experience in Test Automation and for instance: QTP, Selenium, TOSCA is highly appreciated. Edenred currently uses a variety of tools, such as Jira for project management and Qmetry for manual testing, as well as Teamcity for release management.

Who are you?

We believe that you, as a candidate, have a solid knowledge and proven experience as a QA tester. We also believe that you have experience in project management and QA methodology and that you are familiar with Scrum Agile framework. You have most likely worked with software test management and SQL, .Net and other Microsoft products, as well as have experience in automated testing. It is a merit if you have understanding of code and in particular, C# as the main language as well as an understanding of web applications, mobile apps, API’s and Data Warehousing.

Our team is an international environment, so we think that you are fluent in both written and spoken English and Swedish as well as that you are a structured, organized team player with admirable analytical skills. Your new position will be the key one in the cross-country team and being a proactive team player is a merit. A relevant academic degree highly meritorious however, experience in the field is more so.
