Job description

At Otravo, we work every day to build the next-gen platform for selling flight tickets with the goal to become the largest online travel agency in Europe. 

As a Java developer at Otravo, hundreds of thousands of daily visitors worldwide are dependent on the quality in your code. You will get the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and your work will mainly consist of building new products together with your team, our product owner and UI/UX designers.  In this role you will work as a key member of the team based in Helsingborg, responsible for payment alternatives and self-services such as airline check-in, schedule changes and rebookings. You will work in a collaborative environment where sharing knowledge and coaching colleagues is not only encouraged but expected.   We are using modern and trending technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Elastic Stack in AWS cloud and deliver software using test-driven development approach. 

What we are looking for

• At least a few years hands-on experience from Java.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Interested in working in an agile environment.
