We want to hire a Lead Tester to the department of IT Development – Services.

Our IT organization consists of approx. 200 people and you will be part of the IT Development – Services team.

The team is diverse and dynamic with many different roles and responsibilities such as developers, testers, product owner and business analysts.

You will work in the forefront of technology in close co-operation with developers. Your contributions will have impact on delivery, technical solutions and innovations for the latest mobile services in the market.

We are now looking for a passionate tester who wants to learn new technologies and accept the challenge to take Tre’s systems and services to the next level.

This is what you will do

You will work in an agile development team and as lead tester you are responsible for helping the team to define test plans and test strategies. You will also perform manual system and integration tests in a complex architecture as well as coordinating E2E test/integration testing including verification involving applications.

We would also value if you can support the team in building automated regression tests across multiple platforms and continuously suggest and implement quality improvement measures

We code in Java and other platforms, tools and techniques we use are Git, Jenkins, Gradle and REST to mention a few.

Together in the team and in close partnership with our internal clients we are accountable for finding the best technical solution on the requirements in our prioritized backlog. We are committed to delivering the requirements that create most value, having the client and end-users in focus.

Our way of working is infused by team spirit, no prestige, high ambition and attention to the client. That means that we sometimes help each other out on things outside our specific role, such as testing new services or facilitating retros.

This is what you need to succeed

It would be great if you have experience from agile development. We believe you have a wide knowledge and passion for API testing and testing in general (for both consumers and services). We believe you have technical skills for development of different test frameworks for API testing. You have probably been working with test for a few years as least and acquired knowledge about different test techniques and tools used for testing (API, web, etc) along the way.

Good communications skills are necessary since you will be working with many different people both inside the company and with our partners. These partners may be working in different time zones, so some flexibility is good when it comes to working hours.

We highly value drive and curiosity and for this role, we believe you strong analytical skills! You are a teamplayer who establishes contacts easily.
