Full Stack Web Developer -Java, C#, Go, React

Storytel is Northern Europe's largest audiobook service. We offer tens of thousandsof audiobooks and ebooks in 17 countries with several new markets launching withinthe coming year. More than 800 000 subscribers worldwide use Storytel to inspireand entertain.

As a developer in the Content Tech Team, you will help deliver the platform connecting Storytel with an extensive international network of content creators, publishers and providers. Our tech stack is polyglot and service-based, each service is deployed on Kubernetes at Google Cloud. Today you'll find Java, C#, F# and Go happily coexisting as discreet Docker containers, each with a simple purpose and role. Our frontend is written in TypeScript + React, with the expectation that our users are on evergreen browsers. We are looking for developers that are interested in learning and sharing their own knowledge.

We have development offices in Copenhagen, Karlstad, Lund, Stockholm and Umeå.

Expected experience and skills:

- Experience with JVM or .NET languages
- Experience with Typescript and React or similar web frameworks
- Relational databases and SQL
- Knowledge of automated testing principles and tooling
- You write code that is easy to understand and maintain
- Comfortable with written and spoken English

Desirable skills:

- Git and GitHub Flow
- Experience with modern web development pipelines - Webpack or similar
- Experience writing REST-ish APIs
- Docker / Kubernetes
- Service-based architectures
- Cloud - Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS or similar
- Messaging frameworks - Google Cloud Pubsub, Kafka or similar
- Web frameworks - Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core or similar
- Linux - CentOS, Debian or similar
