Test Engineer for SEB in Stockholm

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a test automation developer at SEB your main task will involve that the code is meeting the business demands and needs. This is done by working close to the code and designing/building your own test frameworks. You will be part of the whole process, end to end. This mean that you among other things will:

• Design and write scripts for testing
• Analyse and examine troubles in the software
• Build new test frameworks
• Test both locally (regression-test) and system-tests
• Work in a close dialogue with the developers

You will be part of a cross-functional team with delivery lead, solution responsible and a tech lead. The team is multi-cultural, with a part of the team based on Vilnius, Lithuania. Together with the 15 colleagues in the team, you will try new technology and learn from each other. The work is done using agile methods, with the sprints being 2 weeks.

YOUR PROFILE

You will be a part of the Customer Cross-solution team which is a heavily focused area within SEB. For this role we would like to see a background within back-end testing, specifically in automated testing and experience writing your own test frameworks. You also have knowledge of Kafka and Java 8 or later editions as well as event-driven and message-based systems. It is positive if you have earlier experience from working with JSON, SOAP/REST API, Spring or JUnit.
