Senior Software Developer

Main Purpose of the Job.

The role holder will be involved in all stages of the software development process from analysis of requirements, through implementation to module testing to enhance and develop the T4 product delivered to our customers.

Position in Organisation:

The Senior Software Developer will report directly to the Development Manager.

Scope of Job:

- Develop program and modules that integrate with the dental system.
- Support and maintain the Company’s current products and integrations.
- Resolve product defects and design and/or recommend enhancements to common and new problems and bugs.

- Design and develop solutions to enable data replication and to facilitate data migration from different software and platforms.
- Participate in and provide input to design, release and sprint planning activities.
- Perform software testing using specified procedures and tools.

- Assist with writing supporting documentation including test plans, technical specifications, feature descriptions, class/object descriptions, and in-code commenting.
- Work with other team members to diagnose and troubleshoot product related issues.
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge of our products, data structures, utilities and tools.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis on defects and/or other issues.

- Adhere to all development guidelines, policies and procedures.

Person Specification

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE

- 5 years of complex programming/analysis activities in a business environment
- 4 years experience with C#
- 4 years experience with MS SQL database
- 4 years experience developing Web Based applications in a .Net environment
- Conversant UI design with modern Web based technologies such as ASP.
- Agile development experience

- Previous experience with DPMS or large scale patient/customer management and booking systems would be advantageous.
- C++, Bootstrap, React, SignalR
- MVC methodology

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English
- Ability to produce a design that provides an excellent user experience in terms of interaction, information architecture and visual design.
