Full Stack Developer - Urb-it

Urb-it is now looking for a senior full stack developer to join their product development team in their Stockholm office. As a small self-organized agile team we have a lot saying when it comes to business decisions and full ownership and direction of the tech. We truly believe in “you build it, you own it” approach and the lean startup way of solving a problem is something close to our hearts.

In a growing on-demand economy, Urb-it offers a unique and green delivery experience for our partners in London, Paris and Stockholm. Using a crowdsourced model of delivery assistants, called “Urbers”, we offer a convenient, fast and personal delivery experience. Each Urber chooses their assignments using the Urber App and delivers using only sustainable modes of transport; by foot, bike or public transport. Our partners may offer our services in a range of ways, including through e-Commerce integration, through Click & Collect flows and also using in-store tools. Our vision: To deliver sustainability for everyone in busy cities.

As a new piece of our puzzle, you will complement the team by participating in reinvention of the same-day deliveries by maintaining quality software in our diverse microservices setup. We do a lot of pair programming and mob programming, and we use pull requests on Github in order to share knowledge within the team and to achieve a collective ownership of everything we ship.

You will have the chance to work with Net, .Net Core, Python, React, React Native, Azure Cloud, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker and more. Knowing all of this is not a requirement, but striving to work in cohesion while having fun at the same time is.

Required:

- You are heavy on .NET,

And you have experience from one of the following:

- Python,
- Or you have worked with Devops processes and tools,
- Or you have experience with popular front-end frameworks such as React.js or similar.

Good to have:

- You understand when to write unit tests, integration tests or service tests,
- You think that solving problems and making the customer happy is more important than which language you use,
- You have worked with creating REST based services before.

Bonus points if:

- You have worked with React Native or Native apps (iOS, Android),
- You have experience working with Kubernetes/Docker Swarm,
- You have worked with Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
