Nasdaq´s Grad Program is a comprehensive one year professional development program built on top of a full time role designed to build a strong talent pipeline through experiential, Nasdaq-specific business opportunities. This will be our 4th class of Professionals. The elements of the program are soft skills training, technical skills training, seminars and other events with focus on agile working methods and job shadowing. After the one year program, our participants walk away with the skills and tools necessary to advance their careers and contribute to teams in a place where the opportunities are endless and within your reach. We are now looking to hire a UX-designer to join our small UX-team in Umeå and take part of the Nasdaq´s Grad Program. You will be working tightly with developers and requirement specialists to provide the best possible customer experience. As a UX-designer you will be part of a cross-functional team where you see yourself as the glue between developers, requirement specialists and customers and you enjoy the challenge of creating excellent user experiences based on high technical requirements. Wireframing, interaction design and interface work will be a part of your everyday life.

* Design user centric experiences that meets customer needs as well as business and technical requirements.
* Conduct user research, user testing and workshops and apply the findings in design and requirements
* Use appropriate methods such as wireframing, prototyping etc to design user centric experiences
* Evaluate current solutions to contribute to an enhanced system design
* Pedagogically communicate findings and ideas internally, as well as with customers, to educate and spread knowledge about UX/UI concepts

Education, Professional accomplishments and certifications:

* 2019 graduate of a bachelor/master degree related to Interaction & Design, Cognitive Science, or equivalent work experience.
* Prior Internship experience as well demonstrated extra-curricular achievements/leadership as is a strong plus.

Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

* Knowledge of normal UX-centric methods, such as wireframing, Personas, User Journey Mapping, User Testing etc.
* Proficient in Axure, Figma or equivalent prototyping tools.
* A basic understanding of front-end development
* Applied knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript (React) is considered a strong plus.
* An understanding and sense of design aesthetic as well as data visualization is considered a big merit
* Driven and ambitious
* Excellent communication skills

You see yourself as someone that has the ability to rapidly produce wireframes and prototypes with a technical feasibility; balancing hi-fi prototypes against low-fi design to optimize the workflow and communication within the team as well as with customers.
