Test Tool Developer

Nasdaq is looking for a new Test Tool Developer to join the Tools Architecture team, which consists of Nasdaq's Build and Deployment as well as Test Tool experts. You will be part of a team who is working in a unique context with complex systems and tools.

Hence, we are dependent on reliable and strong tools to ensure the excellent quality to be able to do this. In this role, you will play a crucial role to uplift the quality and speed of our deliveries by solving technical challenges and enhancing our tools.

Your key focus areas will be development of enhancements in our Test Tool suite "Nasdaq Validator", but will also include internal and external support to users of the tools. You will be working on DevOps tasks, ensuring the Tool Development team's solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance and operability in mind. Furthermore, integration of new tools will also be part of your work in this role.

To be a good match for this role you are in the beginning of your career with a couple of years of experience. We also foresee that you are comfortable in building relationships both internally and externally and enjoy working with many projects and tasks at the same time. You have excellent problem solving skills and are a person who likes to always be one step ahead and curious to constantly learn and develop.

What you will bring:

* University degree in computer science, information technology, software development or equivalent practical experience
* Experience in Java application Development with special focus on:

* Java SE
* API and Code generation frameworks
* GUI development such as Java FX

* Effective communicator as the role will require ability to liaise with development / business teams and with clients

Preferred qualifications:

* Experience working with financial systems
