WHO WE ARE
Schibsted Media Group is an international company that comprises all of Schibsteds media businesses, including brands such as VG, Aftonbladet, Aftenposten, Svenska Dagbladet, Bergens Tidende, Stavanger Aftenblad, Fædrelandsvennen, and seven local newspapers. Right now we are in the midst of leveling-up our awesome Aftonbladet team.
WHO YOU ARE
You will develop new user-facing features, build reusable code and libraries, optimize code for maximum performance and ensure high product quality. You are passionate about building user-friendly, engaging websites and highly scalable distributed systems for our customers as well as internal users.
In our applications, we are mostly using JavaScript (React, Node.js, Jest, Webpack), HTML5, CSS3, RESTful APIs. We follow best practices like continuous integration tools and utilize cloud platforms like AWS.
