Tobii Tech focuses on integrating Tobii’s core eye tracking technology into laptops, PC games, cars, industrial vehicles, medical image processing and many more products. If you want to be part of pioneers that take gaze control to new, exciting mass markets, we may have just the job for you!

Tobii Tech is about to take the next step in the Android world, making eye tracking the next modality to count on, and we need to strengthen our team! If you have Android system in your blood and understand how Android works on a system level, this position just might be of interest to you.

In this role, you will be part of the core team that delivers fundamental interaction for end users, SDKs for other App developers and implementation of our existing Android driver. You understand how to make a new input device deliver an awesome experience and you have a good sense of what makes code maintainable, reliable as well as easy to read and you also embrace the SOLID principles.

Examples of what you could be doing:

• SDK design and implementation
• Device driver integration
• Setup and installation of device
• Hands-free eye interactions
• Prototype new interaction schemas
• Redirecting touch gestures to where you look
• Porting of calculation heavy algorithms to HW acceleration
• Unit testing and continuous integration/release of the system

We believe you have:

• Strong core programming skills
• Fluency in C/C++ and Java
• At least three years of industry experience with Android development
• Experience from using the Android NDK
• Experience in modifying the Android OS
• A good feel for UX
