Senior C# Developer - Tobii Pro

Our most important software product, Tobii Pro Lab, used by universities, researchers and commercial actors around the globe is constantly developed and enhanced. The product is used to design, conduct and analyze experiments centered around – but not limited to - eye tracking. The role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will primarily work with Tobii Pro Lab, our scientific flag ship product, developing in C# on windows/desktop/WPF.Your days will be filled with:- Enhancing our flagship scientific software with ever more features in a slick UI and even slicker underlying code.- Collaborating with teams in Stockholm and Kiev regarding implementation details, process improvements and collaboration efforts.- Taking part in discussions on the future of the product and market.- Writing test cases for your own code and enough manual testing to ensure it’s done when you say it’s doneAll our jobs at Tobii are about innovation, passion and not the least - making things real.A normal day at the office starts with a daily stand-up to synchronize the team and identify any impediments. We'll work together to make sure all teams can deliver on their commitments and eliminate road blocks. The rest of the day will be filled with coding (production, test cases, test infrastructure and build scripts), pair-programming, mob-programming, grooming the backlog, design meetings and reviewing code. At the end of each two-week sprint there's a demo by all teams to celebrate what has been accomplished.We are looking for someone whoWe are looking for a skilled C# developer for WPF/Desktop scientific applications.- Minimum 4 years of experience developing .NET applications - Enjoys learning new things when required (C#, WPF, .Net, TDD, scrum)- Has an interest in software development; technical as well as process/methodWe are in it for the long haul. We do not take short cuts that may cause problems down the road. Clean and clear code and solutions is key, as we will maintain the code base for years to come.
