Your role

The Runtime platform group is a new part of C2S in Gothenburg. We are now looking for developers to join our team of engineers who share a common interest in developing world class ground-based air defense systems.

As a runtime platform developer, you will play a central part in integrating hardware and software and everything in between into our complex systems that give users enough time to react and act.

Our product range is a complex and challenging mix of cutting-edge applications never used in this type of systems before and applications proven in battle for many years. We develop our own applications in-house and we use what has been developed by others and already out there, usually with some tweaks and adaptations. Making them work together is what makes this job so interesting! You get the opportunity to follow our products through the entire development cycle, from the early stages where customer needs are captured and the system architecture is defined, right through to the deployment of the systems in their real environment.

Your everyday workplace will range from a desk at our awesome office in Kallebäck to system development and integration labs, to radar shelters and command centers. You constantly interact with teams and products from all disciplines within the company, because it is in the runtime platforms where it all comes together!

Your profile

To manage the role in the best way, you need to have a deep understanding of system design in Linux and Windows environments. You enjoy being part of a team and working towards common goals. You care about quality and you know what it means to deliver high quality products. We see that you have a genuine interest in computers and problem solving using smart software solutions, and if you are not afraid of hardware, this job will fit you like a glove!

You need good communicative skills in both Swedish and English to be able to share your knowledge with others.

What you will be a part of

We are expanding with a new team to our department in Gothenburg. It's a good opportunity to be part of developing new ways of working and cooperation with our departments in Järfälla, Stockholm. We will be appr. 60 employees and consultants.

Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions and cyber security.

This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
