ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is looking for two Front-End developers – IoT.
You will be part of a new dev team responsible for ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems IoT solutions. The team will develop solutions that will help our customers and our internal service organization to further improve operational efficiency.
The divisional headquarter of ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is serving the global organization, five to ten minutes’ walk from the train station in a modern office.
What you will be doing
As a Front-End developer you will be an important part of our new IoT team. The team will develop Entrance system’s new IoT solutions. The IoT system connects our customers’ doors with an analytics Back-End and user interfaces. This enables an even higher level of service and availability of our doors that are part of the customers’ business critical processes.
As a Front-End developer you will create intuitive and efficient user interfaces that help our customers and service organization to monitor status, check trends, plan maintenance and more. You will also be involved in assessing new customer requirements.
As IoT is an important part of AAES overall strategy, you will have the chance of making a real impact on the business. You will also have the opportunity to influence the team’s way of working as we are setting up a new team. You will be reporting to our IoT Platform Manager.
What we are looking for
To succeed in this role we believe you have a Master´s in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar university degree.
Technical skills and qualifications (mandatory):
· 2+ years experience of developing Front-End for web applications.
· Experience of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks.
Technical skills and qualifications (meritorious):
· Knowledge about Cloud platforms and experience of building web apps interacting with these.
· Experience of Front-End test automation frameworks.
As a person you like to work in a team, you are structured and love to learn new things and share knowledge.
Since English is our corporate language, we expect you to have a high professional knowledge and be able to speak, read and write freely when interacting with your international colleagues.
