We are now looking for Embedded Software Engineer for development of our future in-vehicle infotainment and connected vehicle solutions!
Description
We will start a new advance engineering software development project, where the focus is on the development of our future in-vehicle infotainment and connected vehicle platform. The work will span from development of device drivers, work with middleware to development of applications and services. You will have great opportunities to influence our future software architecture and solutions.
We are searching for embedded software engineers with a broad competence in the area of software engineering and/or computer science. You should preferable have good Software Architecture skills and have the ability to work at several layers of the embedded software.
Previous experience of embedded Linux, operating systems, multi-core controllers, connected car, in-vehicle infotainment and/or HMI development is of high interest.
You will be part of the Chapter Embedded Software, which is one of four teams within the Software Tribe. Our aim is to develop embedded software solutions that support our vision to shape mobility for a more sustainable future.

The role involves:
- Software Development on several layers of the Embedded Software.
- Work with the Software Architectural Design
- Software Builds and Build Environment
- Continuous Integration
- Security analysis activities
- Collaboration with NEVS engineers at different departments and locations
We are looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor of Science or higher degree
- Expertise in embedded software development (C/C++)
- Experience of developing in-vehicle infotainment, connectivity and/or connected car solutions
- Good understanding of embedded Linux
- Good understanding of mobile communication technologies
- Good understanding of TCP/IP- and UDP/IP communication over Ethernet
- Good understanding on building Linux images
- Good understanding of multi-core controllers
- Ability to share knowledge with colleagues
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
