At MatHem we deliver high quality groceries to our customers front door 7 days a week to different places in Sweden. We want to make sure that our customers have the greatest experience from ordering their groceries to the knock on the door, unless you want us to deliver it directly to your fridge - we do that too!
At MatHem we have developed a micro-service architecture and application for Web, iOS and Android for our customers to use. We are highly ambitious when it comes to tech and product development and we always try to with work modern and innovative new solutions to make MatHem the next big thing within tech and deliver high quality code.
We like to work together and therefor we sometimes work with pair programming to solve tough tasks, but you will also work independent. For the right person you will have the opportunity to grow as a person but also as a developer. At MatHem we work a lot with code reviews and feedback sessions to evolve everyone within the company.
One of our challenges is to continue to build great solutions and develop new features and work more with test automation and monitoring. Therefore, we are looking for a Backend Developer to join our amazing team and journey.
At MatHem we are working with modern architecture based on microservices and serverless. In your daily work, you will develop new functions in C# or node.js on AWS Lambda. You will be writing and maintaining single microservices that could be made up of one or more Lambda function. It could be written in the supported language that best suits the task. You will be working with DynamoDB table that triggers events on updates that other services can consume. This will automatically be deployed to our test and production environments using AWS CodePipeline.
We are looking for someone who likes to work together and want to bring new code and ideas to MatHem. Your opinions and ideas matters to us.
What we are looking for:
• Experience in Elasticsearch, Datadog or Kibana is a nice to have, because it’s technologies we use.
• It’s advantageous if you have an understanding of serverless technology, event-driven patterns and experience in one or more cloud provider (preferably AWS).
