UX/UI Designer

Our UX team is currently two people strong and we are looking to add a third UX/UI designer. As a UX/UI designer you will work on our next generation communication as a service (CPaaS) platform. You are responsible for the overall user experience and, together with the team, the success of the product.

As a UX designer you will make sure we have user-first approach working close with developers, product owner and product managers. Work can range from doing wireframes, mockups, prototypes and icons to just inject your DNA into developers work.
We have an iterative development approach with design phases validating the bets we are taking. You are a key person and contributor both in the design as well as the development phase.
The office in Lund is a development hub, meaning most of us working here are engineers designing and developing our core platform. We have grown rapidly over the last year and are now around 40 people but expect to grow to 60 in the near future. As part of that journey we are moving the office from Lund (Ideon) to a brand new building in Malmö (next to central station) in December 2019.

Sinch is an engineering first company with no project managers and scrum masters with each team empowered to deliver value. To be successful in this role you as a person needs to be talented and passionated about working hands on with interaction design. We want you to take part in our journey by helping to shape your own role as well as, over time, the role of the UX team and find the value that you can bring to the table.

You are a skilled individual with a high ambition level and passion
You have excellent communication skills in English - both verbal and written
You thrive in a dynamic environment where ideas and opinions are challenged
You have relevant work experience, for example as a UI, UX or Product designer for web applications or enterprise SaaS products.
Expert proficiency with design tools and software to produce wireframes, pixel-level specifications, visual assets, and other deliverables. Familiar and comfortable with products like InVision, Sketch, Photoshop, etc.
