Backend Developer

We're looking for another Backend Developer to grow our tech team!

Znipewasfounded in 2016 by Johan “vesslan” Ryman, ex. professional CS-Pro and Erik Åkerfeldt, highly experienced Tech Architect and passionate gamer, with the goal to enhance the esports viewing experience. Their background in streaming technologies built the foundation of the company, and our streaming services are being used by thousands of people globally.

As a Backend Developer you'll be working alongside our other backend guy, who helped build the infrastructure for Znipe.TV. We frequently look back and reflect upon our success, failures, and challenges to help us make smarter decisions in the future.

Your role in our Tech team gives you the opportunity to produce work with Riot Games, ESL, Dreamhack, LGu+ and more.

Responsibilities

- Build our Streaming Service: Integrate our product to cloud frameworks, Automate Deployment and Routines, Implement Features
- Manage our AWS and Google
- CloudClearly communicate both internally and to external clients
- Contribute to mentoring the team with best practices
- Proactively suggest improvements and solutions
- Keep an eye on the esports scene and ensure our product keep its competitive edge

Qualifications/Requirements
- Skilled in Java, MongoDB, firebase, as well as REST API, and Microservices
- You are able to solve complex problems independently and you have a proven record of building technical products
- Familiar with working in Agile teams
- Driven desire to learn and grow professionally
- Comfortable with adapting to change

Bonus Experience

- Previous experience with Live Streaming or VOD
- Experience with payment systems, Cloud and automation
- Background in the gaming community with a passion for esports
