Serstech is an innovative company based in Lund’s high-tech cluster. Our mission is to help industry and the security sector save time, money and sometimes even lives by delivering small, affordable and easy-to-use instruments and systems that can be deployed widely to enable accurate chemical identification on-the-spot when and where it matters.
Serstech is looking for a Software Engineer to develop our enterprise web services platform.
Work description
You will be a key contributor to our ongoing chemical sensing platform development project. You will work in an agile project environment with a tight team of engineers. We are using a state of the art toolbox with components such as HTML5, JSON and REST. We feel it is a very dynamic and exciting environment in which to work. Your development scope will be quite broad, mainly covering PaaS and SaaS levels. Going forward you will participate in expanding and maintaining the platform, including key factors such as quality and reliability. You will also be involved in customer-driven projects to build new platform services.

Who are you?

It is also important for you to document your work and engage in collaborative learning. Strong interpersonal skills-the ability to interact with people with a variety of skill sets.
You have a Master of Science degree from Computer Science or similar and very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and verbal
In addition to this experience some of the following areas are required:
• Minimum of 3 years developing web services applications
• Minimum one year .NET development experience
It is desirable to be familiar with tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, a source code control system, a bug or issue tracking system, and debuggers
